Adrian is one of our friendly climbing instructors - here he is kitting up a beginner for a sports route at Swinburne. This is a grade 23 climb at If the weather's bad, or you just want to get in some practise, we can take you to the artificial climbing cave at Little Switzerland - and we are building our own climbing cave in the recreational lounge. Gareth, one of our friendly guides, leads the way up a sports route at Mount Everest.

Sometimes during winter there are even opprtunities to do ice-climbing in the area - this is a route at Sani Pass. The picture shows a grade 18 sport climb at Mount Everest. The area is surrounded by indigenous bush and the views make this a truly special experience. Swinburne has several easier sports routes ideal for the beginner. Let one of our experienced instructors gently introduce you to this exciting sport. The Bell is a relatively easy grade 13 traditional route (no bolts). The absolutely stunning views make this climb well worth it.
