Our accommodation is really, really affordable (really). And whether you're camping, wanting a dormitory bed, a room to share, or travelling as a group—we can accommodate you.
All of our guests have full access to all of the facilities including:
Even if you're just in the area, the bar is a great place to hang out. We have a really huge selection of funky music, a pool table, and in the winter a log fire. And great company!
The bar is the place to unwind and let your hair down. Great music, cheap drinks, people on holiday ... a surefire recipe for a good time!
You do need to eat too. The al-la-carte restaurant is open from 7h00 to 14h45. Breakfast is any time until 14h45, and starts at R5. The menu includes chicken, beef, lamb, fish (including trout), and delicious vegetarian dishes—all at very reasonable prices.
Every evening we serve a three course meal in the restaurant. You can choose between the meat option (R65) and the vegetarian option (R55). You can also choose between a dessert or one of our fabulous cocktails. You must confirm dinner before 17h00.

If camping is your thing, you are welcome here. Just pick a spot on the wide expanse of lawn and admire the magnificant view of the Drakensberg.
While you're here, get a load of clothes washed (please). For only R45 our staff will wash a load of clothes, hang them up, and neatly fold them for you. Or you can do it all yourself in our automatic washing machines for R15 less (R30).

You have full access to all of our facilities - you needn't feel like a second-class citizen just because you're on a tight budget. If you want to prepare your own food rather than eat in the restaurant, there is a fully equipped self-catering kitchen you can use.
Most importantly (to the rest of us, anyway) there are really nice bathrooms with hot showers.

At R85 per person per night, our dormitory accommodation is great value for money.
All of our dorms have their own en-suite bathroom with hot showers.
If you want to do your own cooking, each dormitory has its own fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator. But if you don't want the hassle of cooking after a long hike, you can enjoy our unbeatably priced three-course evening meal in the restaurant.
In winter you'll be pleased by the fact that our dorms have heaters and blankets. Our rooms are serviced daily.
And—for no extra cost—you get a beautiful view of the mountains from your dorm!

If you're travelling with a friend, our twin rooms are perfect. The Basic twins have communal showers and kitchens and are only R10 more than a dormitory bed (R95). With an en-suite bathroom you pay R120.
All of our twins have separate beds (or a bunk bed) and a kettle with complimentary tea and coffee.

If you need a bit of privacy - or think you might need it (say no more) - our doubles are the thing.
They all have a comfortable double bed and en-suite bathroom for R120. Our deluxe doubles have their own kitchenette, including a refrigerator and are only R20 more at R140.
All our rooms are serviced daily.

All of our "Triples" and "Quads" are free-standing units sleeping either three or four. They are ideal for families, or small groups that want to stick together.

These units have their own bathrooms, and share kitchen facilities. You pay R110 per person, per night—but children under 2yrs sharing with their parent/s stay for free.
Don't forget, the great view is free!

For large groups we have a special venue available, found 18 kilometers from the main lodge at the top of Oliviershoek Pass. This venue has a cluster of buildings built over 100 years ago from local sandstone blocks. It has a rustic charm and even in winter is cosy with roaring log fires, wood stoves and breathtaking views.
The accommodation has shared ablutions, two self-catering kitchens, a lounge and a dining area. There are several simple wooden chalets, as well as the accomodation in the main building. Only for pre-arranged functions, there is also an atmospheric bar with a pool table and a lounge/dance-floor. The bar is stocked on request only.
The buildings are situated on a Nature Reserve with walks straight from the doorstep. Guests are welcome to participate in the day trips and activities available at the main lodge, but need to give suitable notice so that transport can be arranged.
All bookings and payments are made at the Main Lodge and need to be negotiated in advance.
